Well, here's that old wood box~~$1.25 from Resale Shop~~lots of chips and few missing pieces. That (to me) made the price even more charming.
Leftover white paint, bit of gray, a cute stencil design~~sanded over the design; then used a bit of dark stain to tone down the brightness.

Love the box! I had to laugh because my husband just doesn't understand why the more beat up some things are, the better! Thanks for the comment - I am excited to start some projects now that my babies are a little bigger and can play a bit on their own. Quite a few of your past projects have caught my eye - I like your style.
