More of those little hearts in a jar--found around 20 of them this week; including large old aluminum heart molds and pans. Getting ready for the Valentine's Day blog.

ReplyDeleteSuper finds and great vignettes and photography. I especially like the crocheted heart. I have several vintage ones, just like yours....they were made as pincushions by Victorian women.
ReplyDeleteI've made quite a few of them after find the pattern in a vintage crochet book. They are getting harder and harder to find in antique and thrift shops. The ribbon on yours has been changed...originally the ribbon was folded so that it had a pointed ruffle shaped around the eyelet.
