Old Metal Strainers

Off to the little booths today to set up a few items;
wanted to share these old metal/wire strainers that are "repurposed" for other ways~and~means:

I bent up the handle on two of them so they could hang on the wall (or fence);

sweet supporting a pretty flower pot.

Painted and stencilled a little wooden box and "made" two old books with some scrape fabric for the binders~~

That large baking tray is industrial size; painted with chalk paint then mod-podged on some French script papers~~

Okay; off to the booths to do some fluffing; may stop by a junk shop or two on the way home!

Have a great Blessed day; know that the Lord is with you always; He wants you to be happy and have your abundance in life!

Grateful for you being here~~

Number Two

I could not resist.  I had to do it.

I bought this "bedside bucket" for $1.00 recently;  yep~~thank Goodness for indoor plumbing.

I used a French style stencil No. 2 (I know, I know)~~~~

and using this for storage in the laundry room.

"two" cute; don't ya think??

Better have a larger shot of this sweet thing; want you to admire my stencilled project; I used a permanent black marker~~worked out perfectly.

Ok; I'm done now.

Thanks for letting me share!

Bobby Flay and Me

Recently, was shopping in Kohl's and spotted this Bobby Flay woven runner in the cookery/kitchen linens section.  But, I didn't purchase it right away.  Had to think about spending $40.00 on a runner; something I would not normally do.

Just by chance, looked online and my runner was on sale at Kohl's; ordered it online and love how it matches my curtains (which is why I so desperately wanted it anyway)~~

Here's my $5.00 large standing mirror I recently painted; wanted it to stand between the two windows in the dining room~~using a very faint grey paint~~stencilled some French wording in the center of the design~~

Few weeks ago,  bought the glass containers with wooden tops for $1.00 each;  painted and stencilled some numbers and found this cute wire basket to tuck them in.  I haven't decided if I will keep them or take them to the shop to sell~~

Here's my current project~~I paid too much for this little lamp; but in my mind I knew the perfect fabric to pair it up with on those lamp shades!

Hope you're having a great week!  Going to take a break and blog around to see what you've been up to.
